Hanging out in Surat with Friends
I always love hanging out with my friends to new and unexplored places all over the country. I had planned one of the trips to Surat from Bhopal and enjoy the city by exploring its food and history. I had planned this entire travel myself and did all the travel bookings for the stay and journey. I always prefer travelling by trains as it is easy and convenient. There are many trains available in this route for the passengers.

Train Travel from Bhopal
After searching for the train availability and seats availability in the different trains I booked the seats in the PuriValsad Express. The train departs from Bhopal Junction at 7 am and reaches Surat Railway station at 18.40 pm. It was an almost 12 hour journey. The train was very neat and clean and had all the facilities and amenities that are required.
The AC was good and the toilets of the train are very clean and well-kept. There are many stations in between like Maksi, Ujjain and Ratlam where I bought food for the journey. The Poha at Ratlam and other eateries and snacks from Ujjain were amazing. When the train reached the station at Surat I headed for the hotel I had booked for the stay. I had booked one of the 3 star hotels in the city known as Lords Plaza.
Stay at Lords Plaza, Surat
The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of the city and close to the main attractions of the place. It offers attractive services with modern conveniences and has simple style and augments the modern appeal for the guests. The hotel is strategically located in the city with railway station and all parts of the city nearby. The main shopping markets of the city are in proximity to the hotel.

The Amazing Jagdishchandra Bose Museum
I visited many places in the city of Surat during the stay. One of the places that I loved was the Jagdishchandra Bose Aquarium. It is a very well maintained and well-arranged place nicely connected with the city. It is one of its kind aquariums in the country and has many species of fishes from the different parts of the world.
The place where they have kept the sharks is the best part of the aquarium. They have an awesome collection of fishes from both river and ocean ecosystem. The Shark tank with Black tip reef sharks is something that will attract all marine lovers and all the visitors. The icing on the cake is done by Whale skeleton at the exit.
