With a busy schedule every day, I manage my job and home quite effectively. I need to keep myself updated with the latest trends in fashion and this makes me travel often. Nonetheless, I have an understanding husband, who helps me and manages most of the time accompanying me in my trip. One such instance led me to travel to Chittoor to attend a fashion show to choose some trendy garments and accessories.
Having the Finest Train Travel Experience
Over the years, I have developed a liking for the train travel because it helped me develop great relationships not only with my family and relatives but also with other people, wherein some of them still follow my blogs and call me to comment on fashion or other things. As a professional, I never compromise my work and balance both private and work lives adequately. The advance booking system of Indian Railways helped me book three AC 3-tier tickets easily.
Reaching Koduru Station half an hour before the scheduled departure, we boarded Venkatadri Express at 6.10 am. A superfast express originating from Hyderabad Kacheguda, the train travels all the way halting at 22 stations to reach Chittoor. The seats were comfortable and the compartment looked clean. The window glass was lightly tinted and I could view the scenery outside.
Though you are provided with washed and ironed bed sheets and pillows, we did not require them for we had to travel about just 3 hours. There was no disturbance from hawkers and we had a good time chatting with a family about some politics, weather and of course, fashion. The train reached Chittoor at 9.00 and we walked through the crowded platform to hire a prepaid cab to Bans The Hotel.
Enjoying a Good Stay at the Hotel Bans
Situated ideally in the outskirts of Chittoor, the hotel offers a peaceful stay in the tranquil environment. A fairly good property with a three-star status, Bans The Hotel offers easy proximity to some of the places like Tirupati, which is the abode of Lord Venkateshwara. I had booked a Family Room, which looked decent with enough space, large bed that can accommodate two adults and a kid and some furniture.
The pleasing wall pastels and the large window opening out to the scintillating views of nature around refresh your mind. The hotel also offers other facilities such as:
As for dining, there were two restaurants Squirrel and Samskruti. I could taste some delicious cuisines of various types such as Punjabi, North Indian, Continental, Chinese and South Indian in the first one, while the other offered vegetarian delights. For light refreshments anytime, you can find 4 Seasons – 24 hours Coffee Shop. Those who would like to chill out after a busy day can find Spiritz Bar offering a range of wines and liquors. I had a great time enjoying the Fashion Show and experiencing the traditional warmth and care all along the journey and stay in Chittoor.
